This week, we are asking you to BLOG {yes you can still makeover your products if you are still inspired}. Blogging in an important way to connecting to others. Other readers, other bloggers, other sellers, etc. We are asking you, what do you want out of this TpT thing? Is there a dream you’ve been dying to obtain and TpT can make it possible? We’d love to hear your dreams!
This has been on my mind since August last year. I started meeting up with some of my local blogger gals and I met the incredibly talented Lauren from A Teachable Teacher. With her encouragement, she inspired me to DREAM BIG for TpT.
PAY OFF STUDENT LOANS: Attending a private school for undergrad and grad school has left quite a dent in the loan department. I ADORE the school I attended and wouldn’t take it back for anything {Azusa Pacific University}. BUT, I’m sure many of you may be in the same position as I am. Paying a car payment size payment each month for your loans. It can be a burden. I am dreaming to pay off my loans with the income I make from TpT.
TEAM TEACH: One day, I’ll have kids. It’s my dream to team-teach with another wonderful teacher, so I can spend some days with my kids, some days in the classroom. I would use the income to TpT to supplement my teaching income.
TRAVEL: I love to travel. Before I settle down with kids, I’d like to take at least one more European trip. Traveling and learning different cultures is incredibly important to me. I also hope I will be able to take my kids aboard someday.
LIVE GENEROUSLY: I believe in giving back what I have. With the income I make with TpT I would like to give to places that are near and dear to my heart. I also believe in blessing those around me, whether I have the means or not. I love to treat my friends, family, and coworkers to lunch, coffee, or ice cream. It’s always a blessing to be treated without any expectation in return.
Now it’s YOUR turn!

Student loan! Oh, I hear you ! I love my school as well. I have some amazing memories and times that I would not trade. I recently started to pay them back and it always hurts to press submit. Its a lot of money! So paying them off will be such a relief.
I love that you want to team teach. Too bad I don't live near you, you would be amazing to work with! I also love how you want to give to others. I feel God has a plan to use you in a positive way, and your dreams will come true! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
That is awesome that your district offers the option to team teach part time. My school mentioned something about possibly implementing it and most of us rolled our eyes because we cannot afford part time. But if you can, that is fantastic : )
It's funny how similar everyone's goals are. I wonder if it's because we are all in the same profession. I wonder if a different profession did this same kind of challenge, if their answers would be different from ours or not? I feel married to my student loans (and my husbands), so one of my goals is to save now for my twins' educations. I don't want them to ever have to deal with that burden! However, that 'burden' afforded me my dream of becoming a teacher, so I guess I can't complain TOO much! Thanks for putting together this challenge. It's so fun! Are you going to be in Vegas this year? I'd love to see you there! Mrs. Thomas' Teachable Moments
My dreams are very similar to yours as well! I am SO READY to be debt free!!! So much so that I almost considered not going to Vegas this summer because hello, Dave Ramsey would not approve, haha! But then I decided to go anyways! No more living vicariously through IG like last year. I hope all your dreams come true through hard work and passion! 🙂
Jen! My husband went to APU too. I am a Vanguard grad myself, so I hear you on the debt! I just applied for the teacher loan forgiveness and am hoping to wipe off 5K this summer.
Thanks for sharing your dreams, off to write my post now! Layla

First of all, thank you so much for this challenge! I hope you can successfully pay off your student loan debt, start a family, travel the world and continue blessing others! Best of luck meeting all of your goals! -Katherine Sra. Cruz
I related so much to your goals of students loans, family and giving back. I especially liked your comment about "treating" those around you. It's amazing how much those little "treats" can really brighten someone's day!
Love this, and love that we are able to learn so much about each other through this challenge as well! I didn't know you went to APU!! I went to Concorida! What year did you graduate!?! You for sure will be able to stay home one day with your sweet babies friend! You're amazing!!
Jen, I loved reading through your dreams. I agree it would rewarding to be able to give back and help others. I definitely have the travel bug too, and would love to see more places. I wish you lots of success and I hope all your dreams come true!
Loved reading your goals! I really like idea of teach teaming or job sharing. I don't have kids yet either but imagine I won't want to work full time. Thanks for sharing! Good luck! 🙂
