Happy November! I hope you got the most out of that extra hour of sleep 😉 {unless you’re in AZ or HI!}
Can you believe it!? We’ve made it to November. I’ve been in school for…2 months. It seems like it’s been a whole year already…
The start of the holiday season is upon us!
I want to share one of my favorite Thanksgiving read alouds.
“The Ugly Pumpkin” by Dave Horowitz, is a rhyming story about an “ugly” pumpkin finding his way through October and into November. A fun twist on the old tale The Ugly Duckling.
This book has a lot of depth. You can use it to teach many things: kindness, accepting others, anti-bullying, thankfulness, or just the transition between Halloween & Thanksgiving.
Make sure to BUY THIS BOOK 🙂 It’s a must have for this season!
Thanks for having this giveaway! I like to read There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie! The kids love to finish the predictable text when I read it aloud. 🙂
