It’s always a good time to celebrate your students. Originally, these student posters were for the end of the year celebrations we do in the classroom.
During distance learning, we couldn’t meet together and celebrate the end of the year, so I created a digital version. But this can be used in the classroom and for more than just the end of the year.
These student posters can be used for birthday celebrations, student of the month, star student, or anytime you just want to show students how wonderful they are. On these posters, classmates add kind words about each student. You can print these and send them home as posters for your students (you can read about how I’ve done it in my classroom here).
Here’s how these digital posters work:
Students can type directly on the shared Google Slide. They can also submit their comments in a Google Form. Then the teacher can put the comments on the poster.
Here’s what the Google Form looks like. The teacher edits this form to include each student in their classroom. They then send it out and collect responses from students.
Student posters have 2 writing design options (bold or cursive) and the option to use speech bubbles or none.
There’s also a class portrait page, which is great if you can’t get yearbooks thanks to distance learning.
