Scholastic Book Clubs has changed my life. I remember getting the book flyer every month in elementary school and visiting the book fair once a year when it came by my school. Honestly, one of the first things I did as a new teacher was join the Scholastic Book Clubs! I couldn’t wait to get books for my library and books for my students. Scholastic Book Clubs helped fund my library and get my students reading. I can’t tell you how much money I’ve spent supplying my own classroom and how much Scholastic has helped me save!

Find Deals to Stock Your Library

Dollar Deals
Every week, Scholastic puts high-interest books on super deal for $1. This is great time to make a steal and grab a set for the library, small group time, or class gifts.

Book Bundles
Book bundles are a quick and affordable way to fill your library! I love getting the seasonal book sets to add to my display shelf (this particular one was themed “green” ;)).

I also love getting sets of books for my listening center! I grab seasonal audio book sets then buy a few extra copies of each book with my bonus points. I put the CDs onto my iPod and the students just adore listening to books on audio!

Class Coupons
I love these class coupons! I buy them every year. The coupons are worth $5 towards a book and usually cost around $30 for a set of 32! I love getting these for birthdays, Christmas, or end of year presents. If I get it for Christmas, I let the students pick a few favorites books from the Winter flyer and pick one to give them as a present!

You heard that right, BIG BOOKS ARE BACK! My students always love to read these during our ELA centers.

Why Join?

Bonus Points
Every time a student places an order, you get “bonus points”. These points add up quick. Scholastic loves to shower you with incentives too by always adding extra opportunities for bonus points (see below for one example). Sometimes it’s as simple as placing a $25 order one month and getting double the points! These “bonus points” can be used towards book purchases or teacher supplies (from timers to organizing bins, they’ve got it all)!
