I’m linking up with Mel from Seusstastic and Michelle from Apples and ABCs for the last week of Elf in the Classroom!
On Monday, Alexis brought the kids some elf themed pencils for having a good day with the sub on Friday!
On Tuesday, Alexis got a little self-centered and took some selfies to put up all around our room.
The kids were loving it, so I left her picture as my background for the rest of the week!
On Wednesday, Alexis fell from her high spot in the classroom and ended up playing in the bandaids.
THEN, someone touched her.
She hung write above his desk and wrote him a nice warning letter not to touch her again! Thankfully Santa made sure she still kept her magic 😉
On Thursday, Alexis left us some elf themed roam the room activities. We had a blast!
On Friday, she left us a letter that told us she’d be leaving til next Christmas. But we were so grateful that Santa lifted her magic for a few minutes so we could all love her and tell her last minute things. This part was so precious I had tears in my eyes! Oh the sweet innocence of a child! They were telling her what they wanted for Christmas, they were telling her they loved her, and they were hugging her and telling her they’d miss her. It was the sweetest thing I ever saw!
With the last hugs goodbye, we hope she comes again next year 🙂
