I’ve been an EC Teacher Lesson Planner user since 2014 and they have only gotten better since! I’m sure you’ve already heard the buzz around the EC TLP, so I’ll spare you all the gorgeous details. You can see a previous detailed review below in the YouTube video of the general outline of the Erin Condren Teacher Lesson Planner. I’ll show you my top favorites of this year’s edition, so we can skip the main parts!
Here’s what’s new and what I love about this year’s edition!
As per usual, I love that you can snap on/snap off a new cover! Sometimes I have covers I don’t like for the whole year and others I want to see again! A great plus for those of us who can never decide (any other indecisive friends out there??)! This feature has been on the teacher lesson planner since the beginning, but I love it.
The graph paper has been a recent add (not this year, but just a few years ago). I love creating my seating charts on this and saving it for subs!
This year’s calendar has PREPRINTED DATES! This is life changing for me due to the fact that EVERY YEAR I mess them up. I liked the idea, but I could never find the time to get them right! Now, no need, they are already printed on the calendar.
The preprinted dates are ALSO on the weekly planner space. I love this as well. Gives me back just a few extra seconds of my life in my busy teacher schedule while planning.
This checklist is also not new this year, but they serious put about 50 pages in this year! It’s perfect for keeping track of grades, classes, homework, different paper work. All the things we have to keep track of on the daily for our students. This is definitely one of my favorite spaces. Helps me keep a good record to go back to!
This folder in the back of the planner is one of my favorite additions over the years. I put my stray papers in there from school site professional developments or papers I need to reference throughout the year.
This plastic slip cover is also AMAZING. Every year I put my school and my district calendar in it. This way it stays nice and fresh throughout the year and I’m always able to take a glance at it for upcoming dates.
Lastly, I love the “Dates to Remember” in the notes section at the beginning of every month. It’s a great place for me to recap all the important school days.
Let’s talk favorite new accessories shall we??
This snap in whiteboard checklist is every teachers dream. It snaps easily into the planner and is ready for your quick thoughts during meetings or as you gather your things to run home.
These extra long sticky notes are life savers. They can stick onto the bookmark too so you are always ready for jotting down a quick note!
