Elf in the Classroom Linky with a FREEBIE

I’m excited to link up with Michelle from Apples and ABCs and Mel from Seusstastic to share what my little Elf on the Shelf has been up to this week!

Late Monday night I decided to join the party & make the purchase…

We welcomed her into our classroom on Tuesday.

The kids were totally freaked out that we had a package from the North Pole!

She popped right out of the box and onto our white board to watch.

We spend a long math block deciding on a name!

Wednesday we inspired another classroom at our school to have their own elf 🙂

Alexis left two wonderful students from the day before a little note of good behavior with some green elf dust! They were the lucky ones who got to fill out the morning observation of the elf’s whereabouts…

Things were getting out of control so she needed to remind them about their behavior, she ended up on the behavior chart with her own clip. Obviously she’s on blue.

When she was knocked over, things really took a turn…

She reminded them to be kind by sitting next to our “Bucket Filler Jar”.

She had tipped over next to the jar and someone touched her and moved her to an upright position while we were out of the room *gasp* {not me}!

And our number one rule is PLEASE DON’T TOUCH ME OR I LOSE MY MAGIC!

So on Thursday she left us a note…

Thankfully she showed back up on Friday after the students were doing a wonderful job. She made sure to stay high out of reach! I think she was taking things from the prize box…

I have to admit my kids have been pretty freaked out, even the smart ones are like “I know she’s real & moves on her own” because I’m always conveniently out of the room when she moves 🙂

Since my kiddos have finally figured out-to keep her we have to respect her and our teacher-maybe she will be a little naughtier this week! I’ve seen some amazing ideas!

Alexis’ list of things to do:

1. Write on Ms. Cullen’s rules {uh oh}

2. Have a snowball fight {mini marshmallows with a friend}

3. Accidentally show up in the wrong room {switch elves for the day with a coworker}

4. Decorate around the room {candy canes, lights, streamers…}
