Easy Valentine’s Day Gifts {For Parents & Students}
Valentine’s Day is JUST AROUND THE CORNER!! Are you ready?
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but…I’m ready!
Here’s an easy idea for a parent gift:
All you need:
-a whiteboard
-a whiteboard marker
-some hearts
-some kiddos
-construction paper {for cards}
It took me all of 5 seconds to make this board {okay not including the dicut hearts}. While my students were walking around doing our review scoot, I snagged them and took their picture.
I printed through Target’s one-hour photos, glued them on the front of the cards {folded pieces of white construction paper}, then had the kids write inside and decorate {obviously we went over what to write, how to write it, etc.}.

So, I’m not a health nut, but I am pretty much against any sugary gifts for my students {since HELLO that’s all they give each other for Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Easter…the list goes on and on}. I always like to give trinkets OR a healthy treat.
This year and last year I gave my students bubbles as their Valentine’s gift.
these bubbles were from Michael’s {18 for $3, but I had a 40% off coupon}
{oh how I love pinterest}

Last year, I threw a yogurt parfait party (again trying to be on the “healthier” side, instead of candy candy candy}. The kids LOVED building their own snacks and the parents were thrilled I offered somewhat healthier choices {yes, I am the person at school who despises cupcakes, but in this day and age, I’m pretty sure every teacher has cupcakes on the WHY GOD WHY list}.
disclaimer, this is not my picture, I had forgotten to take pictures of my parfaits last year!
I hope these were some helpful, easy ideas for a smooth Valentine’s Day!
