Hi, I’m Jen & welcome to Sparkling in Second Grade!
I live in sunny southern California with my husband and two little kids. I’ve been teaching for 12 years. I’ve taught first grade, second grade, 6th grade math, ELA and math intervention (k-6). I love all things tech (except when things go wrong… WHY!?). I am the tech coordinator at my school and hold district professional developments for all things tech. My favorite subject to teach is phonics (and I DO love math as well). I attended Azusa Pacific University where I received my BA in Liberal Studies-minor in math, Multiple-Subject Credential, and masters in Digital Teaching & Learning. I love to use picture books to teach. I love Target (are you even a teacher if you don’t?). I love to travel.
