Here’s a sneak peek at my {incredibly busy} week!
Monday was Cinco de Mayo!
How did you all celebrate!?!?
We crafted away!
We made some simple sombreros with paper plates & cups!
We made some BEAUTIFUL tissue paper flowers {I am now obsessed and want to do it for absolutely every event and holiday ;)}!

{I do have to say, we were the best lookin’ class on Monday}
As the teacher, you always have to participate 😉
We’ve been working on measurement this week. I am in love with all the activities and flippables from Amy Lemons’ “I Can Measure“!
My kiddos LOVED running WALKING around the room, finding things to measure in her “Find It” activity!
My favorite time of the year! Every spring we have “Cultural Diversity Day”! Check out what I did last year {HERE}. Each classroom gets to pick a country and make their kids experts on it. Then we travel to different “countries” {classrooms} to learn about different cultures and countries!
We deck out our classroom in colors and flags and goodies from our “countries”!

I made little passports for my students to take around to each classroom to take notes. They LOVE it 🙂

This year I’ve been a little obsessed with tissue paper art…
We made tissue paper Irish flags!
{I also have a plan for tissue paper art day during our countdown, I think I have a problem}
…so what else can I do with tissue paper!?
Tuesday was our one month anniversary. I’m blessed to have married such a wonderful man 🙂
This past weekend was quite busy! I spent the day at the Santa Anita Race Track for my best friend’s birthday! It was a blast!
I spent the evening celebrating my sweet friends’ wedding! Congrats Katie & Stephen!

Happy 1 Month Anniversary! I love your blog and all of your Cinco de Mayo ideas/tissue paper crafts! I used a freebie I made to practice multiplication and had a kiddo who usually complains about math say "Today was actually fun" so that made my day! I would love to be able to incorporate your hat and flower ideas next year! Happy weekend : )
